Ice Skating

Vermont’s winter air and scenery are hard to beat. But the experience is enhanced when you slip on a pair of skates and step out on the ice on a pond, a lake, or an indoor/outdoor rink especially prepared for you. You can skate forever here on the longest skating trail in the U.S. Take to smaller rinks for some relaxed skating or pick up hockey games. Look for skating centers through the Green Mountain State, where skating venues abound and equipment is available to rent or purchase.
